a (bicycle) workbench uncluttered

dreaming a work-
                            bench (uncluttered)

simple? sure
shallow? yes, tiny dream -
                start small

I dream a work
bench, wall-hanging

wrenches waiting

right means tight

lefty (counter-clockwise - subversive)
means loose

sequential soldiers
mark millimeter time,
10, 13,15, seventeen
haggard, measured, vets

the in-betweens shiny,
anxious, scared, and scarless

chainbreakers, cable cutters, crank pullers
valve stem extractors, tire levers
spoke wrenches -
specialists crucial to the cause

one corner a bike stand
the other a vise
(or a vice)

Looking outward
    a rusted stack of bikes
    a Potter's clay
    a general's triaged troops

or
   truly
         (to the worldly)
unwanted scraps
    aluminum
        rubber and
           steel that once took

           someone
        somewhere

(and might again

if ever I
    get off my butt
    rally those troops
    prepare for this specific
                                  peaceful
                                        quiet
collection
                   of revolutions
                                        unturned)
