Another Juicy Electric Maxi-Mini-Bike (and another Super 73)

It seems that every time I ignore Juiced Bikes, they pop out another model or make some big lineup change. I started watching them when they produced only one bike - the U500 cargo bike. It wasn't that long ago. Now they have bikes all over the place.

The big surprise maxi minibike - the Juiced Scrambler.

The CampScrambler (knobbies & spokes)

Unlike the tube-framed minibikes of yesteryear (and most of the electric maxi minis we've seen lately), this one has a cast frame. This gives Juiced a better opportunity to keep the bike clean by hiding the components and wiring and all of that good technical stuff. (I am a little disappointed that they didn't use that advantage to wire the rear taillight into the battery pack, but that's a very little gripe.)

The CityScrambler (streets slicks & mags)

Juiced offers three distinct models. Other than color, rims, and tires, the CampScrambler and the CityScrambler appear to be identical in specifications. They're both motivated by 750 watt Bafang powertrains with pretty hefty 52 volt battery packs. Yes, they should have impressive power and range.

(The only HyperScrambler pic on the site)

The other bike is the Bad MamaJama HyperScrambler. It has an 1100 watt powertrain and a whopping 52 volt 19Ah battery. Snagit! This one will be a ride!

I see the longneck bottle, but I did not see a built-in bottle opener like the Super 73.
(To be fair, you can add your own for just a few dollars.)

The Current Juiced lineup

And a Bonus Maxi Mini from Super 73

While doing research for this post, I also learned that Super 73 has put out a new base model that is pretty sweet (and under $1000 if you pre-order.) Here it is!

I love the looks of this bike - one of the cleanest maxi minis I've seen. A+ on looks, Super 73!

While the specs on this one are not as impressive as the Scramblers, this bike isn't intended to be a high-end competitor. Consider this one a maxi-mini lite.

Details are so far pretty limited. There's no mention of the battery pack - I'm assuming it'll be a 36 volt model. It's also not built for us bigger folks. (Are you under 5'7" and 175 pounds? Me too!)

Okay, that's about it for today. If you can't get enough of the big minis, check out this post from last year. Mesquite Hugger: Back to the Big Minis.

May you, your longnecks, and your trucker hat find the perfect ride that's clean and green and makes you smile.
